A Potential Breakthru in Sleep Related Breathing Disorders

From our new studio here at the University of California Irvine's BEALL APPLIED INNOVATION CENTER, we meet the most amazing people doing the most incredible things, particularly in the world of medicine and medical devices. On this week's OC SPOTLIGHT, we showcase one of them, STIM CORE and the incredible things they are doing to potentially improve and/or fix that wide spectrum of Sleep Related Breathing Disorders we all deal with as we age (but so seldom think about).  From simple snoring (with its not so simple side effects on our mental and physical health) to more serious things like Sleep Apnea where patients actually stop breathing during their sleep and suffer from a wide range of other health and heart related issues tied to their sudden lack of oxygen.
