Each week, Chris Dyer (the host of our weekly HR show, TALENT TALK) asks his guests "what book are you reading?" This week, Mike Fingado, the young co-founder and CEO of Mowdo, gave a suprising answer. Rather than focusing on traditional books, he'd rather listen to podcasts and is a rabid consumer of them. Does this represent a generational shift away from paper or a more practical admission that in a world of smartphones, it's much easier to listen than read on these small screens? We pass this along as one more anecdotal bit of evidence regarding the growing popularity and power of this new, longform medium.
